Counselling Youth

Is your child acting out? Struggling with adapting to changes in routine or relationships with peers?

My individualized, creative approach allows me to match the needs of youth who may or may not respond well to traditional talk therapy. Creative approaches can include elements of play, art, and music.

These approaches are informed by an understanding of individual needs at different developmental stages, by the influence of diverse-abilities, and through recognition of relational and environmental factors.

Couples Counselling

Struggling with an intimate partner or spouse? Need support through a difficult life transition?

My approach to couples counselling is tailored to your situation. Providing a fair, and balanced approach and safe space to express your issues with your significant other in a respectful manner. Whether you are seeking assistance in day to day communication, work-life balance, or exploring conflicting beliefs and values, I offer assistance in providing a fair and balanced approach.

Family counselling

Living with others can be difficult and in different stages of life we can feel like we are stuck in a negative holding pattern, or worse. Sparks can ignite fires we can not seem to put out.

I can offer a fresh perspective if you are struggling to identify issues, or, support you in communicating these to the other important people in your lives.

Family based approaches can be particularly helpful in identifying and resolving patterns of conflict resulting from unmet needs and difficulties in communication.
